Classrooms offered at Greene Street

Each classroom at Greene Street Daycare and Preschool is unique in their own way.  All classes encourage social interactions between the children and uses Creative Curriculum to teach daily planned learning opportunities that are based on the interests of the children.  We use the Early Learning Development Standards to plan and implement learning activities and to assess the growth and learning of children.

  • Infant room covers ages from 6 weeks old to 18 months old. We provide a nurturing environment for the infants to develop the beginning skills that will transition them into the Toddler room.

  • Toddler room age is from 18 months to 36 months. This room will help develop communication, sharing, and basic skillset to guide your toddler into the next phase.

  • Welcome to the 3 year old room! By this transition the kids will need to be potty trained and still will be taking naps during the day. The teachers will focus on skills such as teaching them ABC's, 123's, learning songs and express their creative nature.

  • Our 4 & 5 children are now preparing themselves with the help of their Teachers for the next chapter! As we do offer Preschool for this age group, the Daycare also focuses on a similar learning structure. The kids are challenged every day with activities that keeps their brain flowing & encourages them to use their skills.

  • Schoolage starts at Kindergarten- 5th grade. We offer a before and after school daycare program for your children who are now enrolled in the Piqua schools. We have activities for them such as Big game, coloring, and tablet time. We also have field trips during the summer they can go on once enrolled.

  • We offer a few different options for Preschool.
